Font Download Stats

Thanks to everyone for downloading!
I just want to thank everyone who downloaded my first two fonts Giraffe and Mothership... when I first logged into Dafont to check my download stats, I was blown away by the numbers. And the numbers just keep steadily growing. I understand that many many people download fonts just because they're interesting, regardless of whether or not they're planning to use them. (I know I do.) But still, having my fonts on that many machines is otherworldly to me. So thank you so much everyone! And after looking at the lopsided numbers, once I release Dropship I'll start concentrating on more practical typefaces instead of the obscure ones like Mothership.

Dropship Font - Coming Soon!

Dropship Font - Coming Soon

My newest font Dropship will be finished shortly. I designed it as a sister font to my previous Mothership font. I used the same structure but different elements to create it, so the two fonts should work well together. So keep an eye out! I'll post up again once the font is available. And keep an eye out for the previously mentioned Space Dust font, as well as the new multi-weight font... they're both progressing nicely.

Work In Progress: Multi-Weight Font

multi-weight font
I'm starting to work on a new sans-serif font, and I'm designing it in 4 different weights. I always hate when great fonts don't have multiple weights, so I thought I'd do my best to adhere to my own standards. The weights are 15px, 30px, 45px, and 60px thick. The weight names will probably be Light, Regular, Demi-Bold , & Bold.

Work In Progress: Space Dust Font

Space Dust Font (Work In Progress)
This font is a work in progress... I'm planning on making a type poster with it. It's supposed to resemble a combination of stars and dust... so I think I will call it Space Dust. Click the image to see the letters A & B larger and on a black background. (as it was originally intended)

My favorite type of typography is that which requires thought. I love type that makes you really get closer and read. This font is designed for just that. Inspiration was taken from fonts such as Bifurk and Bola, but I put my own twist on it. This type is obviously meant for display purposes only, not for large bodies of text. Works great for titles and headlines, and I'll be working it into my designs in the future. Click on the image to visit the Fonts section of my website and download the font.

Giraffe Font Is Finished!
